Nine Group has announced the January launch of a new division, Nine Networks, to be headed up by ex Club Communications stalwart and current Nine Group Operations Director, Barnes Clutterbuck.
Following the acquisition of a data services business earlier in 2015, Nine has invested heavily to create their own state of the art data network, offering a complete portfolio of broadband and Ethernet services, which they aim to have available for resellers to buy through Nine Wholesale towards the end of Q1 2016. The newly formed Networks Division will also be the home for a brand new SIP and hosted IP Telephony offering that will be on extended beta trial with selected Nine Wholesale resellers in early 2016, ahead of a full launch in Q2 2016.
Building on the recent launch of our new iBillie reseller portal, we will ensure that Nine Wholesale resellers will have an intuitive and simple interface to provision, manage and report on the new products that are being developed within Nine Networks.
Commenting on his new appointment, Clutterbuck enthused:
“The launch of Nine Networks is a major event for our Group and represents a key step in our transformation from a good business to a great one. Being in control of our own network portfolio, rather than buying from other players, will help to improve both the commercial and service offerings that we provide for our resellers through Nine Wholesale.”
