Reports to: Technical Director

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and test Web-based and Windows-based Software and Service to benefit and complement Nine Group products, services and processes
• Liaise with other members of the Development team regarding implementation of specifications and requirements
• Participate in bi-weekly Agile planning/review meetings
• Assist with peer-review, system testing, release preparation and support of software
• Provide regular updates on progress of development tasks.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Degree level education or equivalent
• Experience of developing web-based applications and services
• Practical knowledge of one or more of the following languages: ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET
• Experience of writing queries and stored procedures in Transact-SQL
• Ability to develop robust code to achieve agreed requirements
• Understanding of Object Orientated Concepts
• Ability to follow a specification and to implement it in code
• Ability to raise, monitor and, where possible, resolve project or development issues.
• Microsoft Certification
